Due to increasing data requirements from the local regulator a top retail bank had to implement a big data solution to increase the data gathering capabilities.

The task that the software had to complete was to find all the documents (stored on local drives, sharepoints, other IT systems etc.) that meet criteria provided by the user.

The tool was integrated with the bank's in-house data science platform.
